Wayfair's first physical store brings its digital experience to life. This two-story retail store offers a wide range of furniture, decor, and inspiration across styles and budgets. Interactive displays, a cafe, and a local artist's mural all contribute to a memorable in-store experience that reflects the Wayfair brand.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Design Wayfair's first flagship store to offer memorable and interactive customer experiences.
The challenge: Ensure the experiential elements align with the brand, remain within budget, and meet the KPI of $10 million in sales in the first year.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
Creative asset execution: Provided creative direction and executed brand elements for Wayfair's first store, such as signage (over 1000+ pieces!) and collateral to collaborating with product merchants and visual merchandising teams on a premium and interactive consumer experience.
Experiential retail design: Conceptualized and designed physical experiential installations to enhance the customer experience, driving engagement and interaction with our product.
Full lifecycle creative management: Oversaw end-to-end development and execution of all printed assets (signage, brochures, displays) for store openings.
